Mr. Lim is a partner of the Firm experienced in all stages of labor and employment practice, including the drafting and review of company labor policy, practices, standards, and procedures; audit and recommendation of job contracting and sub-contracting practices; streamlining of manpower services and effective enforcement of downsizing policies; preventive mediation-conciliation conferences before the Bureau of Labor Relations; collective bargaining; employee discipline; certification election; as well as representing client companies in labor cases before the National Labor Relations Commission involving claims for illegal termination and unpaid wages and the National Conciliation Mediation Board for cases involving unfair labor practice.

Mr. Lim has acted as assistant corporate secretary and general counsel to different corporations, both stock and non-stock, providing work such as contract review, drafting of legal opinions, and registration and regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Lim provides retainer and legal counseling services for various corporate and individual clients across multiple industries. Representative clients include a prestigious educational institution; a leading manufacturer of modular systems, construction materials, and interior finishes; a contractor for the country’s largest electric power distributor; and one of the largest global suppliers of coconut products, among others.

Mr. Lim teaches Labor and Social Legislation and Labor Relations in the University of the Philippines College of Law and the Angeles University Foundation School of Law.

Apart from his law practice, Mr. Lim is also engaged in various business ventures. He is chief executive officer of a full service commercial printing company specializing in large run offset printing, as well as partner and legal counsel for a manufacturer of bespoke Philippine handmade shoes.

Before joining the Firm, Mr. Lim was an associate in the Puyat Jacinto & Santos Law Offices. He was also a partner at the Ricasata Tancinco and Lim Law Offices, where he headed the labor and employment practice group.

Mr. Lim graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law, where he served as Vice Illustrious Fellow of the Upsilon Sigma Phi Fraternity. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2012.
