ARTHUR IMANUEL N. ZAPANTA

Mr. Zapanta is a partner of the Firm with significant experience in civil, criminal, administrative, and appellate litigation, having appeared in trial courts of all levels, including the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. He has also represented clients before various government instrumentalities and administrative agencies, such as the Office of the President, Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, Bureau of Immigration, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Department of Justice, Department of Labor and Employment, National Labor Relations Commission, and the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, among others.

Mr. Zapanta manages numerous retainer clients across a spectrum of industries, providing general legal counseling as well as property-related services such as land registration and title transfers. His representative list of clients include among others a medical hospital and property development group with extensive land holdings; a manpower agency supplying independent contractor services to local government units; a large car, truck, and motorcycle dealership; a hotel and casino; a leading medical equipment specialist; and a homeowners’ association.

Mr. Zapanta is also experienced in the setting up and registration of domestic corporations, including providing corporate housekeeping services such as processing and maintenance of all permits, licenses and other regulatory requirements.

Immediately preceding his stint with the Firm, Mr. Zapanta was a senior manager in the legal department of one of the country’s leading property developers.   Prior to this, he was a legal researcher and eventually an associate lawyer at the De Borja Marasigan Allado Law Partnership. Mr. Zapanta also had a long stint as a career service professional in the Bureau of Communications Services, Presidential Communications Operations Office, Office of the President, starting in 2004 as a working law student.

Mr. Zapanta graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Developmental Studies from the University of the Philippines–Manila, where he became a member of the Upsilon Sigma Phi Fraternity. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda College Manila. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2013.
