OUR HISTORY
Allado Zapanta Dela Cruz & Lim Law Offices (AZDL Law) was founded on the noble ideal, shared by its four founding partners, of professing the law with the highest degree of integrity, excellence, and competence.
The partners have known each other since their student days at the University of the Philippines, before each earning distinct professional credentials in their own right. Managing partner Quincy Allado, the most senior in the profession, had been part of and had established several distinguished law offices. Thur Zapanta started early in government, and after a brief stint in a law firm, worked for one of the country’s leading property developers. J.R. Dela Cruz also had previous government and law firm experience, before deciding to take up his Master of Laws in Washington, D.C. and working for a U.S. non-profit organization. Jerwin Lim began his career in one of the country’s top law firms, and later ventured into business while also partnering at his own law firm.
In 2019, their paths have again propitiously crossed, this time to establish a practice that will service the needs of a new generation of small, medium-sized, and large local businesses and individuals that seek the caliber of legal advice and institutional experience expected of traditional “Big Law”, while requiring the niche, out-of-the-box thinking, and personal touch that only a multifaceted law firm with the exuberance of youth and the wisdom of experience can provide.
Already, AZDL Law has earned and continues to earn the trust of a wide base of clients, which include leading corporations in such diverse industries as construction, education, energy, global food supply, government and utility contracting, hotel and casinos, medical hospitals and equipment, and property development, among many others, as well as respected individuals, entrepreneurs, and public officials.
